Japanese Artist Amamoto Hiroyoshi

Born in Mizugae Town, Saga City, lives in Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture. From an early age, he aspired to the path of calligraphy and the sword. He graduated from Fukuoka University of Education (Bachelor of Education) in calligraphy, where he studied calligraphy and kendo. He graduated from Kyoto University Graduate School of Law (LL.M.) and studied civil and criminal law. In 1988, he became a legal instructor at the Ministry of Justice. He works at the Embassy of Japan in Romania. He practices Kumi calligraphy as a performing art. In 1996, he published his calligraphy collection "Returning Home" in Romania. In 2016, held a calligraphy demonstration in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova, and in Bordeaux, France in 2019, and held a solo exhibition. In 2022, he held a solo exhibition in Fukuoka City to protest Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
